Advocacy

Learn about our efforts to support and advance the live events industry.

Why Advocacy Matters

The live events industry is one of the largest economic engines in the United States.

12 million workers and nearly 1.1 million small businesses rely on events to make a living, support local communities, and drive economic growth. Yet despite our size, we remain largely invisible in policy conversations.

Advocacy is how we change that.

Our Mission

Our Mission

We ensure policymakers understand our impact, our vulnerabilities, and the realities we face. Our mission is to protect and strengthen the live events ecosystem through fair policy, economic stability, and representation at every level.

What's at Stake

1.

Our Industry is Still Fragile

Small businesses and freelancers operate with stabilize or destabilize us overnight.

2.

Policymakers Need Real Voices

Without accurate stories and data, assumptions fill the gaps.

3.

Advocacy Drives Access to Support

Relief funding, workforce support, tax credits, and protections all come from policy.

4.

If We Don't Speak Up, Others Will

And their priorities may not represent our industry.

What We Fight For

Small business protections

Access to capital

Fair classifications for freelancers and ICs
