The Legal Stuff
The Live Events Coalition is recognized as a 501(c)(6) nonprofit business league. Contributions, sponsorships, and donations made to the Coalition are not tax-deductable as charitable contributions under Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.

Because the Coalition engages in lobbying and advocacy activities, all contributions may be used for lobbying purposes and therefore are generally not deductible as tussness expenses under IRS rules governing 501(c)(6) organizations. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of any portion of your contribtution.
